ARTHROSTIM

The Arthrostim is an instrument meant to affect function of the body neurologically.  In all of the joints of the spine and extremities, and all of the muscles and tendons, we have cells called mechanoreceptors.  These cells alert the brain as to what is happening in that particular joint or muscle.  When you want to scratch your head for instance, you can find that itch even with your eyes closed because the mechanoreceptors in your shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, and fingers, and all of the muscles and tendons involved, are constantly informing the brain about every movement, and the brain can then direct the proper action to achieve the desired result, that of scratching your head.  The Arthrostim has been very effective resolving pain and improving function in the joints of the arms and legs.
